- Dr. Novoa delivers 40-45 babies per month.
- 75% of his deliveries are performed at Providence and Sierra (30-35/month); the remaining 25% at Del Sol, Las
Palmas and Thomason (10-12/month).

- Dr. Novoa's primary Cesarean section rate is 3-5% per year. This represents >95% success rate.
- Dr. Novoa assists in Trial of Labor (TOL)/Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section (VBAC) deliveries on single
previous Cesarean section candidates with a 90% success rate.
- Dr. Novoa accepts almost all private insurance plans. He accepts Texas Medicaid Insurance including Superior and El Paso First
Insurance.

Gynecology
- Dr. Novoa performs hundreds of laparoscopic procedures per year including laparoscopic tubal ligations, laparoscopic ectopic
pregnancy removals, laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomies as well as other advanced operative laparoscopic surgeries.
- Besides performing laparoscopic hysterectomies, Dr. Novoa has performed hundreds of traditional method hysterectomies with a
preference on performing the more difficult and skill requiring vaginal approach (total vaginal hysterectomy) over the abdominal
approach (total abdominal hysterectomy).
- Dr. Novoa is one of the most experienced physicians in El Paso performing intrauterine device (Mirena and Paraguard) placement,
having inserted hundreds over the past 7 years.
- Dr. Novoa is one of the only physicians in El Paso currently performing cosmetic gynecology, vaginal rejuvenation surgery and
Virginal Restoration.
- Dr. Novoa is privileged at all hospitals in the El Paso area including Del Sol, Las Palmas, Providence, Sierra, Physicians
Hospital and Thomason.
- Dr. Novoa accepts most insurances including Medicaid and Medicare.
